Trico Corp, a US lubrication management services and products company that focuses on increasing industrial asset performance and reliability, says that Predict Inc, which it acquired during 2008, is now operating solely under the Trico name.
Since its acquisition, Predict has been a parallel part of the total lubrication management services offered by Trico. The existing facility, located in Cleveland, Ohio, enables Trico to conduct oil analysis and condition monitoring services, including ferrography and wear debris analysis.
“We are changing the name, not the way we do business. Our customers can still expect to receive the same level of quality, products and services as before, commented Nick Kroll, President, Trico.
“Our goal with the name transition is to create a more unified company approach - one company with a broad spectrum of products and services,” noted Robert Jung, Chief Executive Officer, Trico.
Trico planned to phase out the Predict name by the end of last year. All services and products will reside under the Trico name.
Trico offers assessments for lubrication management programmes, carries out equipment audits and training, and offers a range of lubrication products.
