Improved version of software for rotating machinery

ABB has announced a new release of Analyst, a redesigned and improved version of its graphic analysis package for evaluating the health of rotating machinery.

Analyst is compatible with ABB's condition monitoring modules, MCM800 and CMM11 and provides specialized plots for assessing the condition of rotating machinery. The application uses various plot types to present the historical vibration data and selected unit parameters to the user, so that significant patterns and trends can be quickly recognized. The user can identify problems and deviations in the condition of the rotating machinery and address them before adversely affecting operations.

Analyst is part of ABB's Symphony Plus Condition Monitoring suite of products that allow the user to collect and analyze historical and waveform data for evaluation and maintain continuous surveillance of assets and support proactive maintenance programmes.
